Do not wait for their audit. Hand them the audit script
When an enterprise buyer is evaluating your factory alongside three competitors, they use a standardized scoring matrix. Most suppliers passively wait for the buyer to ask questions. This is a fatal mistake.
The supplier who writes the evaluation criteria usually wins the evaluation.
Engineer the Checklist
Publish a page on your site titled “How to Evaluate an Offshore Machining Partner.” In it, detail the exact questions a procurement manager should ask *any* factory.
Tell them to ask for proof of raw material traceability. Tell them to ask about spindle downtime rates. Tell them to ask to see the CMM calibration logs. Why? Because you know your competitors have terrible answers to these questions, and you have the data ready to upload.
By giving the buyer the workflow they need to do their job, you position yourself not as a vendor, but as a consultant. You dictate the rules of the game.
