TE Series Overview
The TE Series (Assembled Type) telescopic cantilever rack represents CFS Industrial Group’s innovative modular storage solution. Unlike the welded TC Series, the TE Series uses a fully knock-down (KD) design with bolt-assembled construction and horizontal bracing. This revolutionary approach solves the critical shipping constraint that limits traditional welded racks — the TE Series can be disassembled into flat-pack components that fit efficiently into standard shipping containers, regardless of the final assembled width.
The TE Series is identified by its horizontal bracing between uprights (as opposed to the TC Series’ X-type cross bracing) and its split upright columns connected by brackets. Arms are positioned between two smaller upright sections, allowing for significantly wider storage configurations.

Shipping Advantage: Knock-Down Design
The TE Series’ greatest commercial advantage is its knock-down (KD) shipping capability. While TC Series racks must ship as welded assemblies (limited to container door width of ~2,300mm), TE Series components are flat-packed and can be loaded with significantly higher container utilization.

Assembly Instructions Overview
TE Series racks are designed for efficient on-site assembly. Each shipment includes detailed assembly drawings, numbered components, and all necessary hardware. Typical assembly time for a 4-bay, 4-level system is 2-3 days with a 3-person crew.
- Step 1: Install base plates and anchor to floor
- Step 2: Erect upright column sections and connect with brackets
- Step 3: Install horizontal bracing between uprights
- Step 4: Mount telescopic arm assemblies at designated levels
- Step 5: Install chain drive mechanism and crank handles
- Step 6: Connect guide rails and end stops
- Step 7: Test extension/retraction of all arms under no-load conditions
- Step 8: Perform loaded test at 110% rated capacity
